During his college days, Mr. Wedel studied abroad in Latvia and while there, did
a fair amount of traveling, taking pictures. Now they are located here for
your enjoyment and so that you might learn a little bit about the cultures of
other countries. During the Fall of 1999 he visited, Germany, the Czech
Republic, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Russia and Lithuania.
He was fortunate enough to return to Europe during the summer of 2002 traveling
with the Singing Statesmen to Austria and Italy. Mr. Wedel was also
president of the Baltic Students Assocation on the UWEC campus and has included
some pictures of the annual folk fair held in the W.R. Davies Center.
